MapPoint 2010 is the latest version of MapPoint. Go to this page to download a free trial version of MapPoint 2010 from Microsoft, and follow the steps below to update the maps of your current APRSPoint/MapPoint installation.
- Since the install package you downloaded for the trial version is a self-extracting RAR archive, you can use a utility such as WinRAR to decompress it,
- Copy all the files from 'MapPoint\MSMap\PFiles\MSMap\Data' in the decompressed folder to the 'Data' folder under the folder where you installed MapPoint, 14 files will be overwritten with like-named files.
Now MapPoint(and APRSPoint) is updated with the latest maps from MapPoint 2010.
